I'm Vicky - the founder of TALLternative. I'm a self-confessed 6-foot-tall fashion addict who got sick of not finding clothes I loved that would fit my tall proportions!

During Covid one of my favourite tall-focused retailers looked like it was going out of business, and closed all its stores. This terrified me, so I established TALLternative, an online community for those looking to buy tall clothing and help each other find great pieces.

That little idea has now grown to a community of over 25,000 members in 65+ countries.

Whilst it was wonderful to have so many people join the group, finding clothes that are flattering, stylish, affordable and that truly fit our tall proportions is still a huge challenged.

So in late 2023, I decided enough was enough - if brands wouldn't make clothes for us, then we would have to sort it ourselves.

It was time to make a brand powered by the TALLternative community just for us!

To help, I've partnered with a company called Together. They support people like me to harness the input of communities to make stunning clothes. Their Unfolded brand is a favourite for over 50,000 women in the UK and beyond.

Over the past 6 months, we've created TALLternative Collection 01 - a collection of high-quality but affordable tall pieces. Thousands of the TALLternative community have helped design each piece, creating clothes that are focused on flattering our heights and allowing us to express our style.

We want to offer you value for money (no tall tax here!), sustainable, natural fabrics, high-quality workmanship and ensure high ethical standards for our production.

To do this, TALLternative operates on a made-on-demand model. It's not as fast as normal delivery, but I promise you won't find this quality of Tall clothing, with these sustainable credentials, at this price anywhere else!
