WHY MAKE CLOTHES IN THIS WAY?
- We can make clothes specifically for the TALL community - starting a brand with lots of stock wouldn’t be possible due to the cost and wouldn't be in line with our sustainable ethics.
- We can make clothes without the waste - making them a lot better for the planet than traditional brands.
- It allows us to offer amazing quality at affordable prices as we don’t have the extra waste in the process.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery takes 4-6 weeks at the start of a collection. Now it takes 3/4 days as we're selling the little bit extra we make for any issues and returns.
Why work this way?
Because 30% of new clothes made every year are never sold - this year that will be 26 billion items!
TALLternative won’t be adding to that mountain of waste…
Where do you deliver to?
We currently deliver to the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, France, Germany and Ireland! In the future we hope to deliver globally.
What if I buy something and it doesn’t fit?
To help reduce returns we’ve got a community swap platform if you just need to find a different size. Outside of this, we offer 14-day returns or the equivalent legal requirement in your state. For more info, please check out our full returns policy here.
Where are the clothes actually made?
Our clothes are made in Delhi, India.
How is this a sustainable brand?
No brand is 100% sustainable. TALLternative is kinder to the planet in 3 ways;
- We don’t overproduce thanks to our ordering model
- We only use natural or recycled fabrics
- As our community designs our clothes we don’t waste anything in creating numerous samples.
What is the quality of the clothes like?
Our quality is focused on name-brand high street and above. With our zero waste model, we save money and pass that on to you, so you can wear clothes that normally cost around 40% more with other brands.
If this is your first collection, how do we know the clothes will be any good?
The collection is being powered by Together, the company beind leading sustainable community brand This is Unfolded. They’ve got industry-leading repeat orders and very low return rates. The collection is also designed by tall women for tall women who have tested that the fit is just right.
